Biografia:
Joe McElderry é um estudante de South Shields, Inglaterra e aos 18 anos foi o vencedor da 6º temporada do reality show britânico The X Factor, no ano de 2009. O seu primeiro single é um cover da música The Climb da cantora americana Miley Cyrus.
Joe começou a cantar através de máquinas de karaokê há alguns anos. A partir daí ele performou em alguns musicais locais (incluindo Grease) e participou da competição "Music Means Life" - uma competição regional do nordeste da Inglaterra, onde ficou em 3º lugar.
