Joan Wasser (nascida em 26 de julho de 1970, em Biddeford, Maine) é uma violinista, cantora e compositora americana pertencente ao rock/soul.
Começou sua carreira tocando violino com o Dambuilders e já lançou três álbuns solo sob a alcunha de Joan As Police Woman: Real Life, To Survive e The Deep Field.

i am a big fan of joan wasser, and although i do not love this ep quite
as much as her other albums (of which, i am sure, the deep field is chief),
this song in particular got a hold on me very quickly. not so swiftly
forthcoming was this transcription, i'm afraid (it staggers around a little
in terms of key), but i think i've got it all down and all right. enjoy the
