Biografia:
Jefferson Airplane foi uma banda norte-americana de rock psicodélico formada em São Francisco no verão de 1965, uma pioneira do movimento musical psicodélico. Várias encarnações posteriores do grupo original continuaram a tocar sob nomes diferentes, um reflexo do passar dos anos e da formação da banda. Foram eles: Jefferson Starship, mais tarde somente Starship e posteriormente Jefferson Starship The Next Generation.
