Jaymes Young é um cantor/compositor de Los Angeles mas nascido em Seattle.
Lançado em maio de 2013, o EP Young’s Dark Star recebeu imediato interesse de de gravadoras e diversos blogs aclamaram-no, sendo mencionado pela Nylon Magazine, Earmilk e Noisey, assim como atingindo o 1º lugar diversas vezes na lista de "Faixas Mais Populares" na lista da Hype Machine.
Tendo terminado no outono de 2013 uma turnê pela América do Norte e Reino Unido este outono com o trio de indie pop britânico
