Jackyl é uma banda americana de rock formada em 1990. Seu som tem sido descrito como hard rock, heavy metal e Southern Metal. Seu som é bastante inspirado pelo AC / DC.
A banda é provavelmente mais conhecido por suas canções "Down On Me", e "The Lumberjack", que apresenta um solo de motossera feito pelo vocalista Jesse James Dupree. Dupree que acelera o motor da motosserra ou usa o freio de corrente para desacelerar o motor para manter o ritmo.
