Biografia:
Instanzia es una banda de power metal con toques de progresivo originada en Quebec, Canadá. La historia de la banda comienza en el 2004 cuando Alexis Woodbury formó un proyecto llamado Kurse junto con el vocalista Francés Julien Bazile (Synthesia). Con este proyecto grabaron algunas canciones pero nada formal ni concreto salió de éste.
Alexis siguió escribiendo canciones durante el 2005 y grabó un demo en el verano de 2005 junto con el tecladista Mathieu Fiset pero las canciones nunca se liberaron debido a su falta de un vocalista.
