Biografia:
O Iced Earth lançou o seu primeiro álbum em 1991, chamado Iced Earth. A formação inicial da banda era : Jon Schaffer na guitarra e backing vocals, Randy Shawver na guitarra, Gene Adam no vocal, Dave Abell no baixo e Mike McGill na bateria. O álbum é pesado e adicionado de passagens acústicas.
Para o segundo álbum, Night of the Stormrider (1992) os vocais e bateria foram trocados por respectivamente John Greely e Richey Secchiari. O vocalista
