Howe Gelb es un cantante-cantautor, músico y productor musical americano de Tucson, Arizona, aunque nacido en Pennsylvania en 1956.
Proyectos
La propuesta musical de Gelb es colaborativa y ha grabado numerosos proyectos paralelos.
En una entrevista de 2004 con Gelb, The Guardian escribió "La forma que tiene Gelb de ocuparse de su música era tratar a Giant Sand ( no confundir con su banda de electro-rock de los 70 Giant Sandworms) como un colectivo musical suelto
