Biografia:
Hinder surgiu em 2001, na cidade de Oklahoma nos Estados Unidos.
Seu núcleo inicial era formado por Joe Blower e Cody Hanson, que encontraram o futuro vocalista da banda, Austin Winkler fazendo covers em uma festa do colégio.
Após cerca de um ano com apenas os três como integrantes fixos, começaram a trazer mais um ou dois amigos, eventualmente, para reforçar a sonoridade da banda.
