Biografia:
Harold Arlen, de seu nome original Harold Arluck (Buffalo, 15 de Fevereiro de 1905 – Nova Iorque, 23 de Abril de 1986) foi compositor de canções tão populares como “Stormy Weather”, “That Old Black Magic” e “Over the Rainbow”, com que ganhou o Oscar de melhor canção em 1939, no filme "The Wizard of Oz" (filme de 1939).
Foi ainda indicado, na mesma categoria, nos seguintes filmes:
