Biografia:
A banda sueca de heavy/power metal HammerFall é proveniente de Gothemburgo. Iniciada em 1993, três anos após gravar duas de suas músicas ao vivo num vídeo mostrando sua performance, enviadas para Toel Van Reijmersdal do selo holandês Vic Records, foi oferecido à banda um contrato.
O verão e outono de 1996 foram gastos escrevendo, ensaiando e confecionando o álbum de estréia que logo sairia, entitulado "Glory to the Brave". As canções gravadas durante dezesseis dias de novembro foram: "The Metal Age"
