Biografia:
Em 1987, Alexey Belov (guitarra), Nikolay Noskov (vocal), Alexander "Big Sasha" Minkov (baixo), Jan Ianenkov (guitarra)e Alexander Lvov (bateria), se juntaram para formar a banda Gorky Park. Stas Namin, um famoso musico soviético dos anos 70, se tornou o 'manager' da banda.
Na União Soviética, a banda logo fez alguns contatos com gravadoras. Uma das primeiras pessoas a saber da banda foi o famoso guitarrista Frank Zappa. Bon Jovi e Richie Sambora os ajudaram a conseguir um contrato com a gravadora 'Mercury Records'.
