Biografia:
George Friedrich Händel (Halle an der Saale, 23 de Fevereiro de 1685 — Londres, 14 de Abril de 1759) foi um compositor barroco alemão.
Nasceu no norte da Alemanha, como filho de um barbeiro e cirurgião. Seu pai quis fazer de Händel um advogado, contudo, ao observar o interesse de Händel pela música, que estudava em sigilo, seu pai mudou de ideia e dispôs-se a financiar seus estudos de música.
