Formado em 2005, o Galt Aureus é uma dupla de alternative rock/orchestral rock da Califórnia, composta por Saher (vocal e piano) e Susan (vocal e guitarra).
O grupo cita compositores como Beethoven, Chopin e Rachmaninoff como influências de suas músicas.
Galt Aureus foi descrito pelos críticos como "épico", "a fusão da música clássica com a intransigente batida do rock alternativo".
