Biografia:
Fields of the Nephilim surgiu em 1984, com os membros ,Tony Pettitt (baixo), Paul Wright (guitarra), Carl McCoy (vocalista), Nod Wright (bateria) e Gary Wisker (sax). O nome foi inspirado nas lendas bíblicas of the Nephilim, que eram anjos caídos, expulsos do céu para a divulgação do conhecimento oculto (incluindo magia e medicina) para a humanidade.
