Biografia:
Eva Marie Cassidy foi uma cantora norte-americana de vários estilos musicais: jazz, blues, folk, gospel e pop music. Apesar de tímida, era dona de voz expressiva e intérprete única que comovia como o fez com Sting, ao ouvir sua canção ‘Fields of Gold’ cantada por ela. Eva morreu prematuramente, aos 33 anos, vítima de câncer e a sua música foi postumamente promovida por um disc jockey da BBC, e surpreendentemente, tornou-se sucesso na Inglaterra.
