Biografia:
Edie Brickell (Oak Cliff, Dallas, Texas, 10 de marzo de 1966) es una cantautora americana. Su carrera comenzó a finales de los años 80.
Brickell asistió a la Southern Methodist University (Universidad Metodista del Sur) durante un año y medio antes, en 1985, una noche en una bar tomó la decisión de subir al escenario con una banda local, New Bohemians.
A finales de los ochenta, Brickell era la líder vocal del grupo de rock Edie Brickell & New Bohemians
