Biografia:
Banda de Boston, Massachussetts, formada em 1991, o Drop Nineteens era uma resposta americana ao movimento shoegazer ingles de grupos como o My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive e Ride, alem de ter influencias de seus conterraneos Pixies e Throwing Muses.
A banda tinha à frente os vocalistas e guitarristas Greg Ackell e Paula Kelley, que quase sempre cantavam em uníssono; o baixista Steve Zimmerman, o baterista Pete Kosplin e mais os guitarristas Justin Crosby e Motohiro Yasue (convidado).
