Biografia:
Con la muerte de Luca Prodan (diciembre de 1987), Sumo quedó sin su líder natural, por lo que la separación resultó inevitable. Divididos es, junto a Las Pelotas, una de sus herederos que comenzó tras seis meses de inactividad de sus integrantes. «Es una historia típica del hijo que termina superando al padre en la revolución de los tiempos» (Polimeni, pág 40).
Para este proyecto llamaron a Gustavo Collado, ex Sobrecarga y se bautizaron primero como La División para optar luego por Divididos.
