Biografia:
Dinosaur Jr. é uma banda norte-americana de rock alternativo formada em 1984 em Amherst, Massachusetts, por J Mascis junto com seu amigo Lou Barlow.
Juntamente com os Pixies, são considerados um dos principais responsáveis pelo retorno dos solos de guitarra ao rock independente americano (até então dominado pelo pós-punk/hardcore), eles adicionaram grandiosos solos de guitarra, distorção e barulho a um som temperado por letras depressivas, vocais desleixados e riffs melódicos.
