Dinah Washington, pseudônimo de Ruth Lee Jones (Tuscaloosa, Alabama, EUA, 29 de agosto de 1924 - 14 de dezembro de 1963), americana, cantora de jazz, blues e música religiosa.
Os dois títulos recebidos por Dinah Washington, “Rainha do blues” e “Rainha das jukeboxes”, dão a idéia de seu sucesso artístico e de vendas. Dinah foi uma das cantoras mais importantes dos anos 40 e 50. Nascida Ruth Lee Jones no interior do Alabama, em uma família de baixa renda, mudou-se para Chicago com a família aos quatro anos.
