Biografia:
DeVotchKa é um grupo formado por quatro multi-instrumentistas e um vocal que mistura Românico, Grego, Eslavo, e Bolero, de música com raízes de punk e folk americanos. Com base em Denver, Colorado, o quarteto é composto por Nick Urata, que canta e toca teremim, guitarra, bouzouki, piano, e trompete; Tom Hagerman, que toca violino, acordeão e piano; Jeanie Schroder, que canta e toca sousafone e baixo; e Shawn King, que faz a percussão e toca violino.
