Biografia:
Dennis Brown era um dos principais expoentes do reggae. A limpidez de sua voz e beleza de suas canções o fizeram tão ou mais popular na Jamaica quanto figuras-chave do ritmo como Bob Marley e Peter Tosh. Nascido na capital da ilha caribenha em 1º de fevereiro de 1957, Dennis Emanuel Brown pertencia `a segunda geração do gênero, que começou a cantar quando o ska já não estava mais presente no cenário musical e um novo estilo tomava conta das paradas: o reggae.
