Biografia:
Essa banda de Glasgow, na Escócia, apareceu no começo da década de 80. A banda se resumia a dois integrantes, o cantor de 16 anos, Justin Currie (baixo e teclados) e Iain Harvie. Conseguiram um contrato com uma gravadora e compuseram um single chamado "Sense Sickness", que teve a participação de Bryan Tolland (guitarra) e Paul Tyagi (bateria). Agradaram de imediato e fizeram várias sessões com o influente DJ da Inglaterra, John Peel. De quebra, conseguiram abrir excursões do The Fall e dos Smiths, ganhando status de banda cult.

Just wanted to post an easier version of the song I came up with. You
can play the whole tune, including the more complex chords, by fretting
only power chords on the bottom three strings, and leaving the top
three strings open. Just tune your A and D strings up one step, and
your G string up one half step, so that you have an open E Major tuning,
then use a capo if you want different keys. Not the exact chords, but
they work.
Now get a 2nd guitar to play arpeggios, and a bass to play the roots,
and you've got a song your band can learn in about 10 minutes. :-)
