Biografia:
Em 1985, Ernst Horn e Alexander Veljanov fundaram o Deine Lakaien. Horn é um qualificado condutor de orquestra. Ele dirige a orquestra de Karlsruhe, na Alemanha.
Eles se conheceram através do anúncio jornal. Horn é inspirado pela dramaticidade da ópera, pela música medieval e folclórica; Veljanov gosta de New Wave, Punk, Pos punk e Gothic Rock.
Desta forma, basicamente dois músicos bem diferentes, estão a ficar juntos, mas eles conseguem combinar seus interesses e eles começam a criação de uma nova mistura musical.
