Biografia:

David Sylvian é um músico e compositor de origem britânica, conhecido maioritariamente por ter sido vocalista da banda Japan. No período áureo dos anos 80, surgia então um banda com uma sonoridade completamente diferente a par de Bauhaus de Peter Murphy. A música e sonoridade de Japan evolui bastante ao longo da década de 80 e finais de 70, inspirando-se em artistas glam rock como David Bowie, T. Rex e New York Dolls, ou mesmo punk, como Patti Smith.
