Biografia:
Dan Hartman fazia parte da banda Edgar Winter Group, depois decidiu seguir carreira solo. Assim ele seguiu compondo e produzindo suas musicas, que foi a trajetoria mais famosa dele.
O primeiro single de sucesso dele, foi Instant Replay, de 1978, chegando na posição #8 das paradas europeias. Depois foi a vez de This Is It, alcançar o 17º posto das paradas da Europa, em 1979.
Dan tentou emplacar mais um hit, "Time and Space" do albúm Instant Replay, porém não agradou tanto o público, assim não conseguindo sucesso nos tops europeus.
