Em todos os setores, você tem sua cota de altos e baixos e, no mundo da música, isso não é exceção. Crystal Shawanda sabe disso em primeira mão. Mas, um sonho não seria um sonho se você não tivesse que trabalhar duro para chegar lá. Crystal Shawanda nasceu na Reserva Indígena Wikwemikong, na Ilha Manitoulin, no Canadá, em Ontário. Ela cresceu imersa em todos os estilos de música, especialmente country, sendo o mais novo de três irmãos; a música sempre fez parte de quem é o Crystal.
