Biografia:
Combichrist foi formado em 2003 pelo norueguês Andy LaPlegua (fundador da banda Icon of Coil) como um projeto aggrotech. As primeiras faixas que LaPlegua compôs foram um crossover de powernoise/techno sob a alcunha DRIVE. Posteriormente o nome da banda jkukuyv.kju5rhGunz, que foi lançado pelo selo alemão Out of Line. O nome Combichrist vem do fanzine hardcore que LaPlegua fazia no fim dos anos noventa, junto com o guitarrista JR Ewing e Håkon Mella.
