[Verse]
Ab
There ought to be a town somewhere
Fm Eb Db
Named for how I feel
Ab
Yea I could be the Mayor dowm there
Fm Eb Db
And say welcome to Sorryville
Ab
It wouldn't be on a map nowhere
Fm Eb Db
You might say it that it don't exist
Bb
But if you make enough wrong turns
Db Eb
It'd be hard to miss
Ab
There ought to be a bridge somewhere
Fm Eb Db
They could dedicate to me
Ab
I'd probably come to the ceremony
Fm Eb Db
With a can of gasoline
Ab
Walk on over to the other side
Fm Eb Db
And there I'd light a match
Bb
And sit and stare through the smoke and the flames
Db Eb
Wondering how I'm ever gonna get back
Db Ab
Why do I do the things I do
Bbm Fm
Was I born this way am I am a self made fool
Db Ab
I shoot the lights and curse the dark
Bbm Fm
I need your love but I break your heart
Db Ab
And I know the words that'll bring you back
Bbm Fm
But I don't say nothing as I watch you pack
Db Ab Bb
I had to work to be the jerk I've come to be
Db Eb Ab
It ain't easy being me
Ab Fm Eb Db
Ought to be a side show act for freaks like me
Ab
Yea I could be the the star of the show
Fm Eb Db
With my name on the marquee
Ab Fm Eb Db
In a room witha big red button that says danger do not touch
Bb
And twice a day I'd mash it down
Db Eb
And you could watch me self destruct
