Biografia:
Nacido como John Henry Deighton el 13 de octubre de 1940 en Islington (North London, Inglaterra) es un reconocido vocalista británico que ha abarcado estilos que van desde el Skiffle en sus comienzos a finales de la década de los 50's, al Rhythm'n'Blues, el Soul o el Pop que le dio la fama durante los años 60's hasta músicas más experimentales como el Jazz Rock / Fusion en su etapa como vocalista de la banda Colosseum en los 70's.
