Chickenfoot é o nome da superbanda formada pelo vocalista Sammy Hagar(ex-Van Halen & Montrose), o baixista Michael "Mikey" Anthony (também ex-Van Halen), o virtuosíssimo guitarrista Joe Satriani e o baterista Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers). Chickenfoot lançou seu album de estréia (Chickenfoot) dia 5 de junho de 2009.
Em julho de 2013, Sammy Hagar deu a entender a gravação de um novo álbum, o que o levou a fazer as pazes com David Lee Roth
