Superbanda de Blues Rock, fundada en 1970 por el guitarrista Eric Clapton, con Bobby Whitlock como cantante y en los teclados, Carl Radle al Bajo, Duane Allman a la guitarra y el Bateria Jim Gordon.
Solo sacaron un LP de Estudio, llamado Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs, con una gran repercursión en el mundo del rock, y convirtiendo a Layla en una canción legendaria.
