Embora seja mais conhecido como parte do grupo de indie pop de Vancouver, Hey Ocean!, torna-se claro que David Vertesi não será impedido pela espera direta de um único gênero, banda ou som. Tendo viajado de um lado a outro, muitas vezes seu alcance é tão variado quanto os artistas com os quais colabora: da sensação subterrâneo de rap de Ontário, Shad K, o veterano do indie-rock, Jose Miguel Contreras (do Divine Right), a cantora indie pop de BC, Hannah Georgas e até o grupo de garagem Topless Gay Love Tekno Party.
