Biografía:
La banda inicio con el nombre de ShellShock, incluso llegaron a lanzar una demo, pero al notar que ya existia una banda con ese nombre, deciden cambiarlo por Dark Angel. Tras algunas demos más, en 1984 lanza su debut oficial, titulado "We Have Arrived", en el cual mostraban un sonido mas cercano al speed metal, aunque por momentos era thrash metal puro. La banda empieza a ganar fama tras su aparición en una de las legendarias compilaciones Metal Massacre de Metal Blade Records, en la que su canción Welcome to the Slaughterhouse aparece.
