Biografía:
Corinne Bailey Rae, cantante de neo soul nacida el 26 de febrero de 1979 en Leeds (Inglaterra). Tiene raíces inglesas e indias. Desde pequeña mostró un gran interés por la música, y estudió violín hasta que adquirió una guitarra eléctrica en su juventud. Inspirándose en iconos del rock de los noventa como L7 o Veruca Salt, formó su primera banda, Helen, con un sonido indie, y compuesta únicamente por chicas. Tras deshacerse la banda estudió literatura inglesa en la Universidad de Leeds.
