Coolio (nacido como Artis Leon Ivey Jr. el 1 de agosto de 1963 en Compton, California) es un rapero estadounidense que se dio a conocer con el éxito "Gangsta's Paradise" de la banda sonora de la película Mentes Peligrosas (Dangerous Minds).
Historia
Tuvo una infancia difícil, y tuvo que aprender a leer en 'Pelton Power Program For Kids' a la edad de 12 años, programa fundado por el músico texano de jazz Aaron Pelton. Comenzó a rapear tras graduarse en el instituto.
