Christopher "Chris" Rene (nacido el 25 de diciembre 1982) es un canta-autor, músico y productor de Santa Cruz, California.
A lo largo de su carrera pasó por la banda Diversion para luego debutan como solista con el álbum Soul'd Out. Chris audicionó para la primera temporada de The X Factor USA con una de sus composiciones, Young Homie y llegó a ser uno de los finalistas, con L.A. Reid como su mentor y terminando tercero en la competencia, detrás de la ganadora Melanie Amaro y Josh Krajcik en segundo lugar.
