Lançou um single chamado "What Are Words" em 25 de fevereiro de 2011, dia após sua eliminação do American Idol. Ele chegou ao top 40 fora de 325 competidores. A música é sobre sua noiva, que sofreu uma lesão no cérebro, como o resultado de um acidente de carro em 2 de outubro de 2009.
