Los Butthole Surfers son una banda de rock americana fundada en 1981 por Gibby Haynes and Paul Leary en San Antonio, Texas. Son bastante conocidos por su humor negro, y por su sonido que incopora elementos del punk rock, la psicodelia, el heavy metal, el noise rock y la música electrónica. Aclamados por sus shows caóticos y por su particular locura sobre el escenario que no sólo tiene que ver con su imagen sino con el sonido que logra la banda.
