Biografía:
Carlos Alberto Santana Barragán (Autlán de Navarro, Jalisco, México, 20 de julio de 1947) es el guitarrista de la popular banda de rock fusión Santana.
En el 2003 fue nombrado por una revista como el decimoquinto (15º) mejor guitarrista eléctrico de todos los tiempos.
Su padre fue violinista en una banda de mariachi. De joven, Carlos aprendió tocar el violín, pero cambió a la guitarra cuando tenía ocho años. En 1955 su familia se mudó a Tijuana.
