Biografía:
Bastille es una banda londinense de pop alternativo. Se formó en 2010 como un proyecto en solitario de Dan Smith que más tarde decidió convertirlo en una banda compuesta por el propio Dan Smith (cantante/compositor), Chris 'Woody' Wood (bateria), Will Farquarson (bajo) y Kyle Simmons (teclados).
El nombre de la banda se debe a que el cumpleaños del lider del grupo, Dan Smith, coincide con el día de la toma de La Bastilla.
Lanzaron su debut con Flaws y Icarus en Young & Lost Club en Junio del 2011.
