Backseat Goodbye es el alter ego del cantante y compositor Chad Sugg que empezó a crear música recien en sus años de universidad (2004). Sugg empezo a componer canciones en donde aparte de cantar el tocaba todos los instrumentos. Su debut oficial llego en el año 2008 que es cuando se publica Dressed Up Like Dreams
