Biografía:
Azure Ray es un dúo constituido por Maria Taylor y Orenda Fink formado en el el 2001 y originario de Athens, Georgia.
Se mueven en un folk con tintes electrónicos, similar a una primera Beth Orton (dream pop, le llaman). Si bien, la electrónica es sólo una parte de su sonido, más cercano por momentos a un pop indie tranquilo y suave, con muy sutiles y esporádicas cuerdas (Sleep), con varios momentos acústicos y de piano (Another week, Safe and sound, Fever), unas voces casi más habladas que cantadas (cercanas a múm en ocasiones).
