El 28 de octubre de 2008, anunció que iba a casarse con su novia. El 31 de diciembre 2009 Alain y su novia fueron padres del hijo de Nilo.
El 30 de marzo de 2009, apareció en el Reino Unido, The Paul O'Grady Show con su padre.
