Matt Hires continúa tocando con la misma guitarra que su padre le regaló por pirmera vez. Nacido el 5 de agosto de 1985, Hires trabaja de día en una tienda de almacenes, y de noche como músico, y es que su pasión por la música comienza a temprana edad, cuando su padre, también de misma profesión, le entrega el obsequio con que aún trabaja.
