Biografía:
Ecléctico dúo formado por Bret (no Brit) McKenzie y Jemaine (no Jermaine) Clement. Coincidieron estudiando cine e interpretación en la Universidad Victoria de Wellington, y formaron el dúo de guitarristas-bongo-acapella-rap-funky-comedia más conocido en el mundo anglosajón; en parte popularizado por la serie emitida por HBO homónima al grupo; en parte porque se han pateado medio mundo guitarras en ristre cantando sus letras llenas de tópicos de las pequeñas cosas, especie de monólogos con sonido de fondo.
