Pendulum se forma en Perth (Australia), resultado del trabajo en equipo de los productores Rob Swire y Gareth McGrillen con el aclamado Dj local,DJ Paul 'Elhornet' Harding. Sus raíces abarcan desde el D&B, breakbeat y hardcore, han tocado tambien en grupos de punk y metal. Su creatividad parece imparable, intentaron conquistar el mundo del D&B con apenas 12 meses de haberse formado el grupo.
Es la sensación de la escena drum&bass en Australia.
