Biografía:
Peggy Lee (26 de mayo de 1920 - 21 de enero 2002) -nacida como Norma Deloris Egstrom- fue una cantante, compositora y actriz estadounidense nominada a los premios Oscar. Su repertorio, basado en el jazz y pop tradicional, es reconocido como una de las influencias musicales más importantes del siglo XX.
Lee ha sido citada como mentor por diversos artistas como Madonna, Paul McCartney, Bette Midler, Elvis Costello y otros. Comenzó su carrera profesional en 1941 con el director de orquesta y clarinetista Benny Goodman.
