Patrice, nacido el 9 de Julio de 1979, es un artista reggae afro-alemán (de madre alemana y padre de Sierra Leona). A menudo usa su segundo nombre: Babatunde, como lo llamaron sus padres cuando su abuelo murió. Su música está influenciada por Jimy Hendrix.
Combina folk, con reggae, soul y blues. Patrice apareció en la escena musical con el exitoso tema Lions E.P, en 1999 a la corta edad de 20 años. Lo profundo de sus letras y el contenido social de las mismas le viene de la influencia adquirida tanto de su padre
